What Happened To Claude Littner? His Nasty Accident Detailed

We were all pleased to see Claude Littner return to our screens for the crucial interview stage of The Apprentice. The businessman has appeared on our screen from the start of the show but had to take a break from the initial part of the 2022 series.

The American-born businessman has shadowed Lord Sugar since he was the majority owner and chairperson of Tottenham Hotspur. Littner picked up Sugar’s management duties after he resigned from a majority of his UK company directorship. Claude currently helps Sugar decide which business partner to align with as the cameras of The Apprentice roll. 

Doctors almost amputated Claude Littner’s leg following a bike accident 

Claude Littner missed the initial stages of the Apprentice as he recovered from a bike accident that almost cost him his leg. 

Littner told PA that he was doing around ten kilometers an hour when he fell off his bike. Claude said that he half-expected to get run over by the car behind, but luckily, it was an ambulance. 

“I looked behind me to see who was going to run me over,” Claude said on Your Fired. “They saved my life.”

At the hospital, the doctors swiftly concluded that Claude’s leg required amputation. However, they reconsidered, sending Littner to surgery and saving his leg. Littner continued:

“And then they had another chat about it and they said, ‘Look, let’s get him into theatre right away tonight and let’s see if we can save his leg’. And I went into theatre and it was a very long operation and they didn’t take my leg off.”

Fans commented that Claude looked sickly during his latest appearance 

Fans were happy to see Claude back, though some expressed fears that he may have returned too soon.

Some viewers suggested that Claude looked sickly during the episode. As far as we know, Claude’s fully recovered and fit to be on The Apprentice.
